Expert Witness testimony in connection with SIAC proceeding regarding a Joint Venture Agreement between Prime Capital Maldives Limited and The Government of The Republic of Maldives. Michael Evanoff testified as expert witness regarding the viability of an agreement regarding the acquisition and development of 25 island resorts in the Maldives.
Global Hotel Operator:
Retained as specialist hospitality and project development counsel to advise on comprehensive financial, legal and project restructuring of flagship mixed-use projects with ultra-luxury residences in Maldives which received the 2021 HICAP Deal of the Year Award and other global locations. BH2I performed an initial regulatory compliance review, an analysis of the proposed project corporate restructuring and proforma forecast revisions and negotiated to execution all project development, finance, acquisition, management, license and operating agreements. Provided strategic advisory services re injection of potential Stage 2 investors and any corresponding impact on brand and properties, and the ability to enforce Singapore law (as the governing law) and to require binding SIAC arbitration relating to the various transaction documents.
